SANDAKAN: Junior Chamber International (JCI) Sandakan will host “The Kind Cut – Hair Donation Drive” on Sunday, Sept 7, from 10am to 3pm at Bee Choo Origin, Bandar Utama, to support cancer patients in need of wigs.

The campaign, in collaboration with the Locks of Hope Association, encourages the public to donate hair that will be turned into wigs for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

With the tagline “Your hair can be someone’s confidence,” the initiative aims to boost the self-esteem and dignity of those affected.

To qualify, donated hair must be at least six inches (15cm) long, clean, dry, tied in a ponytail or braid, and stored in a clean ziplock bag.

Treated hair (dyed, permed, or rebonded) is accepted if the treatment was done over six months ago. Hair treated with Bee Choo Origin products can be donated without the waiting period.

Donors will receive a limited goodie bag (first come, first served), a complimentary Scalp Analysis Voucher worth RM58, and suitable Bee Choo Origin product samples upon completing the analysis.
