Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah government will be coordinating salary raises of state civil servants according to that planned by the federal government, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

Hajiji said the state will pay according to “what was decided” slated for 1 Dec 2024.

“The amount will be the same as the federal one (raise), insya’Allah (God willing),” he told reporters on Thursday.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim last Friday (Aug 16) announced a 15-percent pay raise for the management and professional categories and seven percent for upper management in two phases.
