Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor is expected to officiate at the Sabah International Expo (SIE), which will make a comeback in September this year following the successes of the previous nine pre-pandemic editions.

Last held in 2016, the SIE is a Sabah Government-sanctioned biennial event jointly organised by the Federation of Sabah Industries (FSI), the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Sabah branch and the Ministry of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship.

It is also endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade), said a statement today.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor was briefed on the three-day event scheduled for September by the co-organising chairman who is also Chairman of the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Sabah, Datuk Lee Swi Heng today.

SIE2023 will kick off with the International Business Luncheon Talk on Sept 21 at the Sabah International Convention Centre.
