
PARTI Wawasan Negara (Wawasan) announced its central leadership line-up with RESET Movement founder, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, appointed as President.
The leadership line-up combines veteran political figures, former ministers, Members of Parliament and professionals from various backgrounds.
Based on the list of appointments, the position of Chairman is held by veteran political figure who is also a former minister, Tan Sri Dr Rais Yatim.
The Deputy President is held by former Johor Bersatu associate chief, Datuk Tan Lek Khang.
The party's vice presidents are former Bersatu Melaka chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik, as well as Tasek Gelugor Member of Parliament, Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan and former MCA Youth secretary-general, Datuk Leong Kim Soon.
Also listed in the same portfolio are Datuk Mohd Omar Mustapha and Datuk Huan Cheng Guan.
Meanwhile, two former Bersatu leaders who were previously sacked, namely Indera Mahkota MP Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah, have been appointed as secretary-general, while Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad has been appointed as information chief.
Meanwhile, the executive secretary is held by Mohd Badrul Ezan Mohd Yusof and the treasurer-general, Datuk Arifin Tobias.
Wawasan also announced the appointment of 25 committee members (AJK), including Gerik MP Fathul Huzair Ayob; former Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Ibrahim Shah Abu Shah and Padang Rengas MP Captain Azahari Hasan.
Hamzah previously announced the establishment of Wawasan as the official platform for the RESET Movement on June 13.
