West Ham United are ready to go higher for Club Brugge attacker Hans Vanaken.
Sky Sports says the Hammers have failed with an opening offer of €10m.
However, Club Brugge expect the Londoners to return with a new bid potentially today.
Vanaken, for his part, is pushing for the sale and at 29 it would probably be his last chance to make the big leap to one of the major European leagues.
West Ham boss David Moyes is eager to bring in Vanaken as soon as possible.
