Hara released their pre-debut single “My Love,” setting a promising tone for the group. The P-Pop group from Davao includes Ai, Blythz, Ckhy, Lory, Tashi, and Yani.
In an interview with Music Geek, the group described their music as a blend of powerful, heartfelt storytelling and uplifting energy.
The members revealed they grew up listening to different genres, which influenced their approach to developing fresh ideas for the group.
“We’re inspired by artists who continue to evolve while staying authentic, and we hope to do the same as we build a sound and identity that’s uniquely Hara,” they said.
Each member brings a distinct strength to the group. Ai holds the leader, visual and dancer positions, and serves as their anchor. Blythz takes on the role of main dancer and vocalist, bringing energy and precision to every performance. Ckhy serves as the main vocalist and rapper, adding strength and emotion to the group’s music.
Lory contributes heartfelt vocals as one of the group’s vocalists, while Tashi brings confidence and charisma as the main rapper and dancer. Completing the lineup is Yani, a vocalist and dancer who connects naturally with audiences through her performances.
Together, their individual strengths and diverse musical influences shape Hara’s identity, with the members embracing their differences rather than trying to conform.
“Instead of trying to be the same, we embrace our differences. Those individual qualities come together to create a sound and performance style that feels authentic to us,” they noted.
As homegrown artists from Davao, the members see the city’s diversity reflected in Hara’s identity. The budding artists hope to bring the same authenticity and pride to the P-Pop scene, showing how different stories can come together as one collective voice.
When asked what excites them about entering today’s thriving P-pop scene, they mentioned how inspiring it is to witness Filipino artists gain recognition locally and internationally.
“We’re grateful to be part of a generation that’s helping showcase Filipino creativity to the world. It’s exciting to contribute our own voice and represent where we come from through our music,” they added.
On their pre-debut single, the members explained that “My Love” reflects the passion, hard work and dedication they’ve invested in becoming Hara. Blending Eurohouse influences with dance-pop production, the track offers a polished and emotionally resonant sonic experience. Moreover, “My Love” carries an unapologetically empowering message centered on confidence and self-worth.
They also highlighted the concept of girlhood in the single.
“Girlhood is about growth, friendship, resilience, and embracing every stage of becoming who you are. It’s about celebrating both the soft and strong sides of being a woman — the dreams, insecurities, victories, and lessons that shape us,” they said.
As musicians, they hope young women recognize their value and potential. They strive to encourage conversations about self-love and the courage to pursue their dreams.
Moving forward, Hara plans to explore different genres, adding, “Every new song is an opportunity to grow creatively, challenge ourselves, and tell meaningful stories. We hope each release allows listeners to discover a new side of Hara while staying connected to who we are as artists.”
With their pre-debut release marking the start of their career, the group believes 2026 is only the beginning.

What stage do you dream of performing on one day?
One of our biggest dreams is to perform on international stages like Coachella Stage while also sharing the stage with fellow P-pop artists at major festivals across the Philippines. More than anything, we hope to represent Davao and Filipino music proudly wherever our journey takes us.
What do you hope people understand about Hara?
We hope people see us as more than just a girl group. We want to represent young women who continue to dream fearlessly, grow through every challenge, and stay true to themselves. More than anything, we hope our music creates genuine connections. If someone finishes listening to one of our songs feeling stronger, understood, or simply a little happier, then we’ve done what we set out to do.
