
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will hold a public hearing at the Government Polytechnic College in Morni, Panchkula on June 3. During the event, he will listen to the grievances and concerns of local residents and issue necessary directions to the concerned officials on the spot to ensure their prompt resolution.
Residents of Morni area have been facing acute drinking water shortage during summers. The power supply in the area is also erratic. Residents also complain that DISCOM call centres are not responsive.
Many villages have accessibility issues, with residents demanding a steel bridge for better connectivity during monsoons.
Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma said that in addition to the public hearing, the Chief Minister would also interact with farmers and members of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) to promote natural and organic farming. The Haryana Government is actively encouraging the large-scale adoption of natural and organic farming practices to enhance farmers’ incomes, reduce cultivation cost, and preserve soil health.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that necessary instructions had been issued to ensure the event is conducted in a smooth and successful manner.
