The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced a final opportunity for candidates who missed mandatory procedures—including biometric verification and physical tests—for various government recruitments, urging them to complete the formalities within a strict deadline.

In a significant relief to aspirants, the Commission has allowed such candidates to reappear at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 3, Panchkula, where the physical measurement test (PMT) and physical screening test (PST) will be conducted until June 5.

Candidates who had applied for the posts of Forester and Forest Guard, but could not undergo biometric verification between May 11 and May 22—largely due to issues in accessing admit cards—have now been granted another chance to complete the process.

Similarly, candidates applying for Constable posts (Male) under both General Duty and Government Railway Police (GRP) categories, who remained absent during their scheduled PMT dates between April 20 and May 30, will also be allowed to participate in the test again.

HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh clarified that the Commission had received multiple complaints from candidates who were unable to download admit cards on time, especially those in the forest recruitment category.

To address the issue, the Commission will issue fresh admit cards for biometric verification and candidates will be notified promptly after submitting their details through a Google Form available on the official HSSC website.

The biometric verification process is mandatory for candidates whose authentication remained incomplete during the written examination. Without completing this step, candidates cannot proceed further in the recruitment process.

Revised Schedule for Biometric Verification

The Commission has released a revised schedule for candidates who missed earlier dates to undergo biometric verification:

  • Candidates absent between May 11–16, have been rescheduled for June 3.
  • Those who missed May 18–19, must report on June 4.
  • Candidates absent during May 20–22, is required to appear on June 5
  • The reporting time for biometric verification has been fixed at 6.30 am, and entry will not be permitted after 10 am under any circumstances.
  • The Commission has clearly stated that this is a one-time final opportunity, and no further chances will be given to those who fail to appear within the revised schedule.

Phased process for constables

While candidates for Constable (General Duty) have already availed additional chances on June 1 and 2, those applying for Railway Police posts are being called in phased batches between June 3 and June 6.

Focus on transparency and fair recruitment

The biometric verification exercise—initiated on May 11, 2026—forms a critical part of HSSC’s efforts to ensure transparency, accuracy, and fairness in the recruitment process by eliminating the possibility of impersonation or discrepancies.

With the deadline approaching, the Commission has urged all absentee candidates to treat this as their last chance and complete the required procedures without fail.

Candidates have been instructed to strictly adhere to the following guidelines:

Carry admit card and valid ID proof: Entry will be denied without proper documentation.

Follow allotted slot: Candidates must report only on their specified date and time.

No late entries: Gates will close at 10 am sharp.

Mandatory attendance: This verification is essential to prevent impersonation.
