Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday visited Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula to review arrangements for the ongoing Physical Measurement Test (PMT) being conducted as part of the state police recruitment drive.

The PMT is being organised by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission for recruitment of police personnel. During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with candidates participating in the process and extended his best wishes for their future. He also sought feedback regarding facilities and arrangements made at the venue.

Addressing the aspirants, Saini said all necessary arrangements had been put in place for the convenience of candidates and their family members to ensure that they did not face any inconvenience during the recruitment process.

“I personally visited the stadium to review the arrangements and encourage the candidates,” he said.

Emphasising transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process, the Chief Minister said extensive measures had been undertaken to make the entire PMT process transparent, systematic and candidate-friendly.

Saini also met family members accompanying the candidates and enquired about the facilities being provided to them. Candidates appeared enthusiastic during the interaction, with many clicking selfies with the Chief Minister, who warmly acknowledged them and boosted their morale.

Around 3,000 candidates are undergoing the PMT daily at the stadium. For their convenience, the administration has set up dedicated rest areas with adequate seating arrangements and also provided a baggage deposit facility at the venue entrance.
