The Haryana Congress is set to hold a state-level meeting of the district party presidents in Karnal on June 12 to discuss organisational strengthening and formulate future political strategies.

The meeting will be held at the Jat Dharamshala, Sector 12, under the chairmanship of the state president, Rao Narender Singh. District Congress Committee (Urban) Karnal president Parag Gaba visited the venue and reviewed preparations along with party workers and office-bearers on Thursday.

Giving details, Gaba said the meeting would play a significant role in further strengthening the organisation and enhancing coordination among party leaders and workers across the state. He described Karnal as a historic and politically important city for the Congress and said this meeting would provide a platform for meaningful discussions on public issues and organisational matters.

He said the party state president would interact with senior Congress leaders, former MLAs, sitting MLAs, party office-bearers and grassroots workers. Suggestions and feedback from party functionaries will be taken to make the organisation more effective and people-oriented, he added. Besides, a monthly review meeting of district Congress presidents from across Haryana will be held. The leaders are expected to deliberate on organisational activities, public outreach campaigns, membership drives, key public issues and the party’s future roadmap in the state.

After the meeting, the party state president will address a press conference and share details of the meeting and decisions taken during the session.
