The Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HALSA) organised a voluntary blood donation camp in Panchkula and collected 314 units of blood. The initiative was held in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh, keeping in view the shortage of blood during the summer months and the upcoming World Blood Donor Day on June 14.

The camp was inaugurated by Kiran Sibal, Member of the Punjab State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, who highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation as a humanitarian and social responsibility.

The programme was organised under the guidance of Justice Deepak Sibal of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Executive Chairman of HALSA. Jagdeep Singh Lohan, Member Secretary, HALSA, appreciated the enthusiastic participation of donors despite the absence of a formal awareness campaign.
