Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has insisted that forward Che Adams cannot leave on loan.
The striker is being linked with a move to Everton, Leeds, Wolves and Nottingham Forest.
"Definitely nothing serious behind this rumour," Hasenhuttl told a press conference.
"We are not in the way that we want to loan players like him to anywhere."
