Former Chelsea captain Eden Hazard has urged Romeo Lavia to make the move to Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Express says the Southampton midfielder is a top target for Chelsea this summer and has been in regular contact with the Blues throughout the season.

Just days into his move to Saints from Manchester City last year, Chelsea had a 50m offer rejected by Southampton.

The Blues tried again in January, with Chelsea proposing a deal which would've seen Lavia loaned back to Saints for the remainder of the season. But again, the offer was turned down.

But now Chelsea are trying again and with Saints relegated, there's a confidence they will sell.

And helping the cause is Hazard, who has spoken over the phone to Lavia. The youngster wanted his opinion on the move and the departing Real Madrid attacker spoke only positively about his former club.
