Head of State, Chief Minister attend Malaysian Red Crescent Society dinner, awards ‘do’

Tuaran: Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor, and his wife Datin Seri Juliah Salag attended the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Dinner and Award Presentations Ceremony at Dewan Seri Sulaman, here, on Saturday.

Sabah Governor, Tun Dr Haji Juhar Datuk Haji Mahiruddin and wife Toh Puan Datuk Seri Dr Hajah Norlidah Tan Sri Datuk R.M. Jasni were also in attendance who both presented awards to recipients.

Hajiji, who is also the State Finance Minister, presented the Active Contributor during the Covid-19 pandemic awards to District MRCS’ and accolades to donors and patrons.

The State-level ceremony was held in conjunction with global Red Cross or Red Crescent Day celebrations 2022.

Also present were Minister of Community Development and People’s Wellbeing, Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya, Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, Deputy Chairman of MRCS, Dr. Selva Jothi K.Selvadurai and Sabah MRCS Chairman, Datuk Asnan Yunus Chung.
