GEORGE TOWN, Aug 14 — A woman died after she was believed to have suffered a heart attack while driving a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) this afternoon, before crashing into two motorcycles parked by the roadside along Jalan Macalister here.

Northeast district police chief ACP Abdul Rozak Muhammad said the 36-year-old woman died while receiving treatment at Penang Hospital.

“The accident only involved the MPV driver, while the two motorcycles seen in the viral video were unoccupied and parked by the roadside outside a restaurant.

“A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death,” he said in a statement tonight.

Earlier, a 1.52-minute video went viral on social media showing a car crashing into two motorcycles outside a restaurant, in an incident believed to have occurred at about 2pm yesterday. — Bernama
