Heatwave: MetMalaysia issues Level 1 alert for Kelantan, Sarawak

MetMalaysia reports three areas will reach maximum temperatures between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.

SHAH ALAM - Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a heatwave warning for Kelantan and Sarawak, with temperatures expected to soar up to a scorching 37 degrees Celsius.

The heatwave has been classified as a Level 1 warning and will go on for three days starting today (Tuesday), the department said on its Facebook page today.

Areas affected in Kelantan were Tanah Merah and Kuala Krai while Mukah in Sarawak.
