Heavy rain along accompanied by hailstorms are set to continue in many places of Himachal Pradesh with the State Meteorological Centre issuing orange and yellow weather alerts for 10 districts on Thursday.

Orange alert has been issued for Shimla, Kullu, Kangra, Mandi and Chamba districts, resulting in heavy rain accompanied with hailstorm, thunderstorms and lightning in isolated places of these districts. Similarly, yellow alert has been issued for Solan, Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Sirmour districts, resulting in light to moderate rain along with thunderstorms and gusty winds in isolated places.

Minimum temperatures are expected to remain normal throughout the day as no large changes in the temperature are expected.

Minimum temperature in Shimla is 15.6°C, Dharamshala 17°C, Manali 14.6°C, Solan 16.6°C, Kangra 21.4°C, Sundernagar 19.1°C, Bhuntar 17.5°C, Kalpa 11.4°C, Bilaspur 22°C, Mandi 20.1°C, Kufri 12.8°C, Keylong 8.5°C, Nahan 22.2°C, Una 20.4°C and Paonta Sahib 26°C.

Kukumseri village in Lahaul and Spiti was the coldest place in the state recording a minimum temperature of 6.8°C.
