The Civil Guard has recovered the body of one of two men missing after a river swept away their van in Alhaurín el Grande, Málaga, as heavy rain lashed Andalusia over the weekend.
Search teams continue to look for a motorcyclist who was carried away by floodwaters on Sunday while trying to cross a stream in Íllora, Granada.
The storm that hit Málaga early in the day has since moved east towards Granada and Almería, while parts of Albacete, Alicante, Teruel and Castellón remain on yellow alert for rain. Girona’s mountains are under avalanche warnings.
