During the construction of the Manesar flyover, heavy vehicle traffic from Jaipur to Delhi is restricted from Pachgaon Chowk KMP flyover to IMT Chowk Manesar, from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm daily. The Gurugram traffic police issued an advisory on Saturday.
According to the advisory, this ban will not apply to emergency services, ambulances, fire brigades, police, paramilitary forces and government vehicles associated with essential services.
During this period, any new entry/cutting has also been effectively prohibited.
All heavy vehicle drivers traveling from Jaipur to Delhi will proceed to their destinations via the KMP Expressway from Pachgaon Chowk, via Pataudi Road and Farrukhnagar Road, then via the Dwarka Expressway and other alternative routes.
The Gurugram Traffic Police appeals to the public and drivers to follow traffic rules and cooperate with them.
These orders have been issued to ensure public safety, smooth traffic flow and smooth completion of the construction work, read the advisory.
