Kota Kinabalu: Inner Peace Academy founder and principal Alyssa Lim said much has changed in the spa industry.

“When I first entered the industry 22 years ago, it was largely dominated by foreign workers. However, I believed in the potential of Malaysians, especially Sabahans,” said Alyssa, adding that it had trained nearly 700 Malaysians.

Present were trainees’ parents from throughout Sabah.

The academy, which is an accredited wellness and spa training institution based in Sabah, offers a range of certification programmes, including SKM Tahap 3 and Urutan Malaysia courses.
