Towards the end of Ramadan, I stumbled upon Henry & Camille a cute little cafe serving delicious home-style iftar buffet at a reasonable price of RM69 ++.
For that price, you get a full-course meal with a starter, main course, and dessert in fine dining comfort overlooking Bukit Damansara residential area.
In fact, it is right across the road from where Anwar Ibrahim used to live before he was arrested in the 1990s.
Those days, this part of Bukit Damansara was a hive of activity with comings and goings because of political developments generated by Anwar's presence in the community.
It's very quiet now. But when I look across from H&C I could not help but think of what it was like then.
The reason I never saw this restaurant in all the years I have frequented Plaza Damansara is that H&C is on the first floor of a long row of shophouses.
You have to climb up a short flight of stairs to the first floor. But the stairway is easy enough for one who is not handicapped. But if you were there is a lift for you, I think.
Once upstairs, sitting by the glass window you'll get a magnificent view of this side of Bukit Damansara that you'll never see from a ground floor shop lot. It's comfortable, cool, and quiet in this restaurant at any time of day.
It's a cute cozy restaurant preferred by young and technologically savvy who like the quiet away from the throngs of crowds that try to make their way into the cafes like the popular Huckleberry and Croisserie down on the ground floor for breakfast daily.
