You heard right: Coach Restaurant is set to make its Singapore debut at Jewel Changi Airport this month.

Following the opening of The Coach Bar along Keong Saik Road and The Coach Coffee Shop at Resorts World Sentosa, the American luxury fashion house is about to unveil its third culinary concept in Singapore, The Coach Restaurant. This is a notable achievement, given that Singapore will be the first country to feature all three of Coach’s culinary concepts.

This marks Coach’s second restaurant in the world, with the first opening in Jakarta back in 2024. The open woodfire modern New York-style steakhouse celebrates the brand’s roots in New York City, where it was founded in 1941.

Like its Jakarta counterpart, the Singapore outlet exudes a warm and sleek ambiance. The space features wraparound benches, an open kitchen and leather accents, a nod to Coach’s iconic craftsmanship. Adding a playful touch, a classic yellow New York cab appears cheekily ‘parked’ on the ceiling.

On the menu, you’ll find classic New York steakhouse fare with a modern twist. Start at the Raw Bar and savour gems like Washington State Oysters, and Black and White Bagel. The latter is an indulgent treat comprising a toasted New York Bagel layered with caviar and cream cheese.

Then, tuck into the starters — you’ll want to try the Maryland Swimmer Crab Cakes. A classic done right, each golden-brown cake is generously packed with Old Bay-spiced blue crab, offering a juicy and tender bite that’s full of flavour. It’s served with a housemade tartare sauce and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Mains are just as hearty, with options like The Chicken Bucket, featuring succulent drumsticks that have been brined for 24 hours before being battered and fried until beautifully crisp and golden brown. It’s served in a leather-wrapped bucket that’s stamped with the iconic Coach story patch, the same emblem usually found inside the brand’s signature bags. The chicken bucket is accompanied by hot sauce, ranch and hot honey. The latter is a favourite, offering a balanced blend of sweet, spicy and savoury.

Along with the chicken bucket, you’ll find succulent Maine Lobster, cooked on wood-fired grill. The result is tender and aromatic flesh, paired well with its black pepper hollandaise and roasted lemon. If beef is your preferred protein of choice, the USDA Prime Ribeye is grilled until slightly charred and served alongside garlic confit. Pair the meats with their selection of sides like the crisp Duck Fat French Fries and Creamy Sweet Corn and Jalapeño.

You won’t want to miss out on Coach Restaurant’s indulgent desserts. Its NY Style Cheesecake is American-portioned, filled with rich and creamy goodness and topped with seasonal fruit compote. Its PB&J Bombe Alaska is a nostalgic nod to the classic dessert and sees layers of nutty peanut butter parfait and jelly. The indulgent creation is served under a blanket of browned meringue. The dessert is sweet and nutty, with rich notes from the peanut butter balanced with the light and airy meringue.

Coach is making bold moves, not just in the luxury fashion world but also in the dining scene. And with the launch of their latest concept, one thing’s for sure: they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
