A Blackpool police officer has been praised for his quick actions, rescuing a woman after she fell off a sea wall into the water.
In a video shared on social media, PC Danny Nelson is seen jumping into action after his attention was brought to a person in the water just as the tide was starting to rapidly come in.
PC Nelson, along with his colleagues Sgt Higgs, PC Dixon and PC Walker, ran to her aid, throwing her a life ring and pulling her to safety.
Blackpool Police have confirmed that whilst the woman was shaken, she received medical attention and has now made a full recovery.
