A group of middle school student worked together to stop a moving bus after the driver lost consciousness behind the wheel.
Bus driver Leah Taylor, 45, was driving the vehicle along her usual route in Hancock County, Mississippi on 23 April, when she suffered an asthma attack and passed out.
Surveillance footage shows five students coming together to avert disaster; one grabbed the wheel whilst another hit the brakes. Meanwhile, one pupil called 911 and another teenager administered medicine to Taylor.
All five students said they continued to work as a team until first responders arrived and tried to keep the other students calm.
Ms Taylor has recovered from her asthma attack, whilst all five students were praised at a Hancock Middle School pep rally.
