Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 caseload increased slightly to 132 Thursday from 125 the day earlier due to a higher positivity rate, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
“Even though the number of test samples decreased to 1,897 (from 2,122 the day earlier), cases still increased as the positivity rate rose from 5.89 per cent to 6.96 per cent,” he said in a statement, Thursday.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 40 cases, followed by Tuaran (22), Sandakan (13), Tawau (12), Kota Marudu (6) and Tenom (5).
“Seven districts did not record any new cases, namely Beaufort, Kalabakan, Kinabatangan, Kuala Penyu, Semporna, Telupid and Tongod,” Masidi added.
He said all cases were category one and two infections, while no deaths or new clusters were identified.
