Search teams for missing hiker Nur Izzati Humaira cover 0.436 sq km near Tanjong Malim but she has yet to be found.

KUALA LUMPUR: Search teams looking for missing hiker Nur Izzati Humaira Azizul, who is believed to have gotten lost while descending Bukit Changkat Asa near Tanjong Malim yesterday covered an area of 0.436 square kilometres (sq km) today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations division assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said 76 firefighters, vounteers and non-governmental organisation (NGO) members,  along with two tracker dogs, took part in the search that began at 9 am.

“The victim has yet to be found.

“Operations were suspended at 6.30 pm and will resume at 9 am tomorrow,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.

Nur Izzati Humaira, 19, was last seen descending the hill with five of her friends and family members.
