Akshay Chaudhary, an Art and Craft faculty at Green Field Senior Secondary School, Kangra, has once again led his young artists at a painting exhibition titled “Kalakriti 26” at the prestigious Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery at Naggar in Kullu. The three-day long exhibition concluded on Saturday.

Under Akshay’s expert guidance, along with fellow teachers Kewal Krishan and Rupali, and with the unwavering support of Principal Sudhanshu Sharma, the exhibition showcased nearly 200 paintings created by 16 exceptionally talented students. Each artwork reflected deep creativity, vivid imagination, heartfelt emotions and outstanding artistic skills, leaving visitors thoroughly impressed.

The participating young artists included Vanshika Rana, Kusha, Avni Shandilya, Navya Sakra, Navya Guleria, Shreya, Metali, Lakshya Thakur, Shradhul Dogra, Suryansh, Tanmay Patial, Divanshu Rana, Pranav Kharval, Yadvi, Akshita and Saransh.

The journey of Kalakriti began in 2023 at the Gaiety Theatre, Shimla, where the same 16 students first showcased their talent. In 2024, the exhibition reached new heights at the Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery and received an overwhelming response as over 50 paintings were sold. Continuing with this inspiring trajectory, Kalakriti in 2025 witnessed 65 paintings being sold with maximum appreciation and profit, encouraging young artists to dream bigger and move forward with confidence.

The school has consistently played a pivotal role in nurturing confidence, creativity and artistic expression among its students. This year’s exhibition proved to be a wonderful platform for their growth, adding yet another glorious achievement to the school’s legacy and bringing laurels to the school.
