Young artist Deepanshu Singhania from Kullu has brought laurels to the state after being selected for the prestigious national cultural initiative “One State One Artist” (OSOA), where he represented the state’s renowned Kangra Kalam art on a national platform. The event was organised at Nashala village in Kullu from May 1 to 9 and witnessed participation from 38 young folk and traditional artists from across India.

An IIT-Kanpur graduate, Deepanshu has been passionately pursuing Kangra Kalam, a traditional miniature painting style known for its intricate detailing, vibrant colours and depiction of Indian mythology and nature.
