
Kuala Lumpur: Screen idol Chow Yun-fat has temporarily suspended promotion of his latest film One More Chance after contracting Covid-19.
The 68-year-old had been busy promoting the film in Hong Kong including running from one cinema to another to meet fans in June but the tight schedule had sadly taken a toll on him, hk01.com reported.
Popularly known by his moniker Fat Gor, Chow promised fans that he would see them once he is cleared of the illness, which was confirmed on Tuesday, July 4.
Chow reportedly said he had been unwell for several days before testing positive for Covid-19.

Chow is known to be a fitness buff as he jogs daily to keep fit.
It was recently reported that Chow, actor Will Or Wai-lam, who plays Chow’s son in the movie, director Anthony Pun and producer Huang Binqi visited several cinemas in Wong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui by jogging to meet fans and the longest distance covered by the group was 5.5km.
