Kota Kinabalu: Upko President Datuk Seri Madius Tangau suggested the Ministry of Education (MoE) maintain SPM exam dates be held from only Monday to Thursday in respect of religion.
The Tuaran MP in a statement expressed thanks to the MoE for not holding said examinations this year on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
“As we all know, Friday is the day for all followers of Islam to perform Friday Prayers, while Saturday is the Sabbath-Day for Seventh Day-Adventists (SDA) and the True Jesus Church (GYB), where they will go to worship in the church.
