Kota Kinabalu: Upko President, Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau on Friday questioned Barisan Nasional’s approval of Peer Mohamad Kadir as Sabah MIC Chief despite allegations that he obtained his MyKad through fraud.
He said the State Government should review Peer’s position as a Director in Sawit Kinabalu and MIC should do likewise regarding his position in the party.
Tangau said MIC Deputy President Datuk Seri Saravanan, who stood-up for Peer by shrugging off the matter as a non-issue, portrayed qualities of an irresponsible leader.
