With Eid al-Adha around the corner in Bangladesh, two buffaloes near Dhaka have become unexpected internet sensations. The locals swear the animals look uncannily like world leaders Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, and now crowds of visitors, photographers and selfie-hunters are flocking to see them.
The bigger star is a 700-kg albino buffalo nicknamed “Donald Trump.” Its pale skin and light-coloured hair have sparked comparisons with the former US President’s signature look. Owner Ziauddin Mridha says the name started as a joke after his younger brother pointed out the ‘resemblance’.
