A clip recently surfaced online where it showed a homeless man getting mistreated by a female security guard and a man for sleeping along a walkway.
It has since gone viral and sparked anger among netizens, who slammed the security guard and man for mistreating the homeless man instead of giving him a helping hand.
Homeless man gets kicked, splashed with water
In the said clip, it begins with the security guard turning on the water hose while the homeless man is seen sleeping in a fetal position along the walkway.
She then turned the water hose on the homeless man and released a stream of water right into his face, forcing him to get up.
A man wearing a cap is then seen storming towards the homeless man, where he gestures angrily at the latter before delivering a kick.
The camera then zooms in at the homeless man, where he had a bag full of his belongings being thrown at him before getting kicked for the second time.
And as if to further add salt to the wound, the man in the cap picks up the water hose and furiously splashes the homeless man’s face with more water, finally forcing him to get up and leave.
Outrage
The clip soon found its way to Reddit, where it was roundly condemned by netizens over the lack of compassion being shown towards the homeless man.

A netizen did some digging and revealed in the comments that the incident took place in Maluri while urging others to help the homeless man if they saw him.
On the other hand, a netizen seemingly came in defense of the security guard and man in the cap, saying that they had to resort to such tactics to shoo the homeless man away as he was probably scaring customers away.
