Honda Malaysia proves that it’s the leader in mobility at KLIMS 2024.
Honda Malaysia takes center stage at the 10th Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2024 with its exciting showcase themed “The Leader of Mobility.” The event, held from December 5-11 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), promises a glimpse into Honda’s electrifying vision for the future of mobility.
Key Highlights from Honda’s Showcase:
1. Prelude Concept: Making its exclusive Asian debut outside Japan, the Prelude Concept embodies Honda’s electrified sports DNA. The model offers a sustainable yet thrilling driving experience and showcases Honda’s commitment to automated driving technologies and carbon neutrality.
2. Honda e:N1: Honda Malaysia’s first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), set for a 2025 release, promises innovation with its three-in-one electric motor system. This BEV offers instant responsiveness and dynamic performance. It has 204PS and 310Nm of torque from a single motor enabling a century sprint time of 7.7 seconds. It offers 412km of range on the WLTP cycle and takes about 45 mins to charge up to 80% and 6 hours to charge up on AC.
3. Personal Mobility Revolution:
• Motocompacto: A foldable e-scooter designed for urban lifestyles. With its compact design and clean energy focus, it’s a practical solution for modern commuters. It’s inspired by the Motocompo and has a 24km/h top speed, 20km of range and charges up in 3.5 hours at home with a standard plug.
• eVTOL: Honda’s electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft showcases the brand’s foray into three-dimensional mobility, expanding travel options beyond traditional routes.
4. Performance Meets Sustainability:
• Civic Type R: Powered by a 2.0L VTEC Turbo engine delivering 319PS and 420Nm of torque, this model exemplifies high-performance engineering with customizable driving modes.
• e:HEV Models: Featuring hybrid powertrains in models like the CR-V, Civic, City, City Hatchback, and HR-V, these vehicles emphasize fuel efficiency, powerful torque, and versatile performance.
