Hour-long delays for drivers as fire closes section of M25

• A large industrial estate fire in St Albans has forced the closure of the M25 motorway between junctions 21A and 22.
• The closure and thick smoke have caused traffic delays of around 60 minutes in both directions.
• Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Network Rail are managing the scene, advising local residents to keep doors and windows closed.
• The blaze comes as firefighters across the UK battle widespread wildfires during an ongoing drought, including in South Wales and the New Forest.
