Season three of House of the Dragon will premiere on June 22 on HBO Max, with new episodes released weekly through to the finale on August 10.

Based on Fire & Blood by George R. R. Martin, the series is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and continues to chronicle the rise and internal conflicts of House Targaryen. The third season builds on the escalating power struggles and shifting alliances that have defined the story so far.

The returning ensemble cast includes Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke and Rhys Ifans, alongside a large supporting lineup as the narrative expands.

The series is co-created by Ryan Condal and Martin, with Condal serving as showrunner. Executive producers include Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein and Vince Gerardis.
