  • Pop band Only the Poets have announced they will charge just £1 per ticket for their headline show at Brixton Academy in London.
  • The initiative aims to make live music accessible to everyone, especially amid the rising cost of living and high ticket prices.
  • The band is supported by the LIVE Trust, Brixton Academy, and Ticketmaster, all of which have lowered their usual rates to facilitate the affordable pricing.
  • The concert is scheduled for 2 February 2026, following the release of the band’s debut album, And I’d Do It Again, on 30 January.
  • Tickets, priced at £1 plus additional fees for venue restoration, Ticketmaster, and the LIVE Trust donation, will be available from 10am on 10 September.
