- The musician revealed he suffered third-degree burns to 65 per cent of his body, fractured his back and underwent 27 surgeries during a three-month hospital stay.
- Four of the six people on board died in the South Carolina crash, with Barker and Adam Goldstein, known as DJ AM, being the only survivors.
- Barker reflected on the years of grief and trauma following the accident, including the death of Goldstein from an accidental overdose a year later.
- He explained how his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, helped him overcome his fear of flying so he could travel by air again for himself and his children.
