Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe was delighted after their 4-0 rout of Crystal Palace.
First-half goals from Jacob Murphy, Anthony Gordon and Sean Longstaff saw the hosts race to a 3-0 lead before Callum Wilson struck in the second-half.
Howe later said, "We had some really nice passages of play, had some really good goal scoring opportunities. I am delighted with the attitude of the players.
"Jacob Murphy was excellent today, he was a constant threat. That first goal was huge in the match because Crystal Palace defend very well.
"He [Anthony Gordon] has to score being an attacking player but he wants to score, he is very driven by scoring and creating. He could have had another today and I am delighted with his contribution."
On Sandro Tonali, Howe added: "Absolute class from our supporters today. They supported and backed him and Sandro will leave here heartened by the reaction."
