LAHAD DATU: Police are on the hunt for a man following an armed robbery at a grocery store in Simpang Payang, Batu 7, on Saturday.

District Police Chief, ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said the suspect managed to escape with about RM1,220 from the cashier’s drawer in the about 4.35pm incident,.

“The suspect later opened the drawer and took away the cash before fleeing the scene using an EX5 Honda motorcycle in black and red cover set,” said Dzulbaharin.

He urged anyone with information to contact investigating officer, Insp Iskandar Kiprawi at 089-881255 or any nearest police station to assist in investigation.
