Hypershell has unveiled its latest outdoor exoskeleton: the Hypershell X Ultra, designed to enhance mobility and boost human performance across activities such as walking, hiking, running, cycling, and climbing.
The Hypershell X Ultra sets a new standard in personal mobility, combining power, intelligence, and durability to enhance natural movement across a wide range of outdoor activities.
Designed for everything from challenging expeditions to everyday outings, it can reduce effort by up to 40% when carrying gear, allowing users to travel significantly farther — potentially extending hikes by 5 to 15 miles — while maintaining comfort and endurance.
At its core is the AI MotionEngine Ultra, powered by more than a dozen sensors that adapt in real time to a user’s movements, delivering precise support on varied terrain such as snow, sand, and steep descents.
Performance is driven by upgraded M-One Ultra Motors, offering up to 1,000W of power, a 25% increase over the previous generation. This translates to measurable gains, including 39% less exertion when cycling, 20% less when walking, and a 63% improvement in hip flexor endurance.
Battery performance has also been significantly improved, with each battery supporting up to 42,000 steps. With two batteries included, the X Ultra delivers a walking range of up to 60km, a major jump from the previous generation’s 17.5km.
New intelligent modes such as Descent Assist, Cycling+, Running+, Dune, and Snow further tailor assistance to different activities and environments, while Apple Watch support via the Hypershell+ app enables hands-free control and real-time monitoring.
Despite its advanced capabilities, the Hypershell X Ultra remains lightweight and durable, weighing just 1.8kg and constructed from aerospace-grade materials for all-weather performance.
It is also the first outdoor exoskeleton to have its performance independently verified by SGS, ensuring that its specifications and claims are tested and validated for real-world use.

The new Hypershell X Ultra exoskeleton will be available for purchase starting at 8pm on 1 February through Hypershell’s official website, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop, priced at RM8,999 and bundled with freebies including an Anti-Cold Battery and a 4-port Charging Hub.
