Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has given Malaysians an early look at the new Hyundai STARGAZER, with bookings now officially open ahead of its market launch.
The preview forms part of Hyundai’s expanding presence in Malaysia following its establishment as a direct subsidiary, with the STARGAZER positioned as a practical family vehicle designed for daily commuting, road trips and multi-generational travel.
The model introduces a distinctive design that departs from traditional MPV styling, featuring a streamlined silhouette and a full-width rear LED light bar. Alongside the standard variants, Hyundai also showcased the STARGAZER X, an SUV-inspired version distinguished by sportier exterior styling elements including revised bumpers, overfenders, a rear spoiler and blacked-out trim details.
Space For All

Inside, the three-row cabin has been designed with family usability in mind. Key features include a digital display of up to 10.25 inches, wireless smartphone charging and integrated seat-back tables aimed at improving passenger comfort on longer journeys.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol engine paired with Hyundai’s Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). The STARGAZER will also be equipped with the Hyundai SmartSense suite of advanced driver assistance systems, including Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go functionality.
Hyundai says the model has been developed to balance practicality, technology and safety while offering an alternative in the growing family vehicle segment.
The STARGAZER will be offered with an eight-year or 160,000km warranty package and is expected to arrive in three variants. Estimated pricing starts from just under RM100,000 for the seven-seat Style variant, a shade over RM109k for the seven-seat Prime, and just over RM121,000 for the six-seat STARGAZER X.
