Tennis star Rafael Jodar has denied claims he pushed a ball girl out of the way during a French Open match.
The incident occurred as Jodar left the court between sets during third-round win over Alex Michelsen. As he gestured to his team in the stands, the cameras caught the 19-year-old pass close by a ball girl, who then stumbles backward.
Speaking at press conference after the match, Jodar denied making contact with the girl, telling reporters ‘I could never push a ball kid’.
