SHAH ALAM - Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli says that he doesn't use outriders or police escorts except for official duties.
In a Twitter post, the Pandan member of parliament said that he has only one rider and that too for official duties as minister.
"Outside of official duties, I'm the same as before - I go alone," he said in the post.
Meanwhile, he also affirmed that he will not use ministry's programmes for campaigning to win votes.
"Perfomance as a minister will decide whether votes can be garnered or not," he added.
His response was following tweets which questioned if the Unity Government would use outrider and police escorts services.
