Mikel Arteta is actively looking to defuse tensions with Pep Guardiola, following a draw last weekend that saw the Man City boss call for "war" with Arsenal.
However, in a press conference following Arsenal's game against Leicester City, Arteta insisted it's just part of the game.
“I can repeat it, very clear. I love Pep. I admire him. And I have admired him since I was 10 years old", he said.
“I respect him profoundly. I am so grateful for everything he did for me and continues to do with me. I consider him a friend."
