I’m A Celebrity star Beverley Callard has revealed she is to start radiotherapy after receiving ‘great news’ following further tests after her breast cancer diagnosis.
The Coronation Street actor, who revealed she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in February, popped champagne and thanked fans for their support after the “relief” of her recent results.
In an Instagram video, posted on Thursday (30 April), the 69-year-old said: “I got great news today, I have been waiting for my results.
“One of the lymph nodes that had cancer in was sent over to America for testing to see how aggressive the cancer would be and its on low numbers, that’s what they’ve told me, so that’s really good and means I can begin the radiotherapy very soon, which I am pleased about.”
