Brazil star Neymar is set to become a father for the fifth time.

The injury-plagued footballer, who is part of Brazil's World Cup squad, announced the news on Sunday in a video released on YouTube with his partner Bruna Biancardi.

The footage showed the couple and their two daughters holding a gender reveal party, with Neymar looking distinctly unimpressed with the prospect of welcoming another girl to the world before laughing and kissing Biancardi.

The 34-year-old has another daughter and a son from previous relationships.

"I'm going crazy," Neymar said in the video. "I'm going to start a band, and starting today it will be the Spice Girls."

On the sporting front, the former Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona forward has little cause to celebrate after sustaining a calf injury in mid-May that prevented him from featuring in the team's World Cup opener, a 1-1 draw with Morocco.

It is unclear whether Neymar, Brazil's all-time leading scorer with 79 goals, will be able to play on Friday in the team's second match against underdogs Haiti in Philadelphia.
