wk 'i'm sorry' m'sian man breaks down apologising as he was unable to afford wife's funeral & coffin
A grieving elderly man in Malaysia is appealing to the public for financial help to give his late wife, Too Moi, a proper funeral after she passed away peacefully at the age of 78.

He couldn’t even afford a haircut

In a post shared by Uncle Kentang on his Facebook page, he revealed that when one of his volunteers arrived to assist with the death confirmation process, the husband broke down and shared his heartbreaking situation.

“I don’t even have enough money to get a haircut, let alone afford her cremation so she can leave this world with dignity,” he said.

He apologised repeatedly to his late wife, saying he loved her but was unable to give her the funeral she deserved.

I’m sorry, my dear wife. I love you. But I am unable to give you a proper funeral. I am truly so sorry.”

With no other options, the man, together with his son, reached out to Uncle Kentang and requested that Too Moi’s ashes be scattered into the sea after her cremation, so she may rest in peace.

“My son and I both hope that you can leave in peace and comfort,” he said.

RM5,800 still needed for the funeral

According to Uncle Kentang, a total of RM5,800 is still needed to cover the cost of the coffin and funeral arrangements for Too Moi.

The organisation is now calling on kind hearted Malaysians to step forward and help this family give Too Moi the dignified farewell she deserves.
