Free agent Iago Herrerin has kicked off trials with Valencia.
The 34 year-old goalkeeper has returned to Spain to begin training with Valencia. He had been playing in Saudi Arabia with Al Raed this year.
Valencia have turned to Herrerin after losing Jaume to an ACL in training last week.
Herrerin came through the system at Athletic Bilbao, while he also had a spell with Atletico Madrid.
Valencia coach Rino Gattuso is expected to make a decision on the trialist in the coming days.
