SANDAKAN: Icomos Malaysia Children Art Competition 2023, jointly organised by Sandakan Heritage Trail Committee and Sandakan Library with the full support from Hotel Sandakan as the main venue sponsor, will be held on June 25.
Themed “Save Our Heritage”, it will also be held at Penang, KL, Melaka and Batu Pahat.
The district will host the event from from 8am to 2pm at Hotel Sandakan Ballroom.
According to the Founder and Chairman of Sandakan Heritage Trail, Lai King Hang, who is also a Board Member of Icomos Malaysia, the competition is divided into two categories: A (ages 7-9) and B (ages 10-12).

Icomos Malaysia is a network of multi-disciplinary professionals and individuals involved in the study and conservation of places with cultural heritage significance, nationally and internationally.
